An accountant charges HK$3,000–8,000 to sort one year of rental books
WITTI Rental is HK$4,880 a year, and watches them daily

Up north, a fapiao.
Here, a tax return.
One system, both.

Hong Kong property tax and profits tax; mainland house tax, individual income tax and VAT. Every owner is worked out under their own regime and gets their own statement — and on the mainland side each month tracks whether the fapiao has been issued.

Common questions

How do I keep track of rent across several units?

WITTI Rental gives you one rent grid: every unit is a row, every month a column. Paid shows the amount, unpaid shows an amber marker, a rent-free month shows grey. You stop cross-checking a notebook against a chat thread — one screen tells you who is behind and by how much, and a reminder fires on each unit’s collection day.

I own property in Hong Kong and the mainland — how are HK$ and RMB kept apart?

WITTI Rental treats them as two separate books from day one. Hong Kong units collect in HK$, mainland units in RMB, and the two are never added into a single figure: the dashboard shows two rings, and reports, charts and year-end statements come out separately. You see the whole portfolio on one screen without converting a rate in your head.

What do I need before I file my property tax return?

A Hong Kong property tax return needs the year’s rental income, deductible outgoings such as rates, and the figures split by owner. WITTI Rental builds that as you go: record each payment and receipt through the year, then generate the annual statement in one tap — by owner, by property, by month. Mainland units get their own RMB statement.

How many properties before this is worth paying for?

Honestly, one or two units are fine in a spreadsheet. WITTI Rental starts paying for itself at three or more, once remembering who paid and which lease expires next stops being something you can hold in your head. Owners and families with three to thirty units are who we build for — and any cross-border portfolio, whatever its size.

Can my staff help without seeing owner or bank details?

Yes. Staff permissions in WITTI Rental are scoped by property: a staff member sees only the units you assign, never owner records, bank details or portfolio totals. They can record rent, upload receipts and chase repairs, and every change is logged so you can see who did what. The Enterprise plan adds separate books per company.

Where does my data live, and who else can see it?

Your data is yours alone. Every WITTI Rental customer account is isolated — nothing is pooled with another landlord’s records. The email you leave here is used only for product news and to arrange a demo, and is never sold. Tenant information is personal data under Hong Kong’s PDPO, held only to run the service; you can export or delete it.
